To help make databases more user-friendly, all different databases can be brought together on one page. Adding menus to the right hand side can be helpful. An option that may be added is "which do I chose? this option may be used by user to help them identify which datbase would be the best for them. Another option would be to add a link to an online source that gives advice about the research process. (Steele, 1) For more information on this article here is the source information.

History of Databases

Electronic Databases date back to the 1960's and contained predominantly information related to science, engineering, technology, and medicine. (Williams, 228) Databases have grown so that now it is almost impossible to find data on any subject. (Williams, 225) Databases are mainly accessed online through a computer. They may be accessed free of charge or a fee may be applied every time through time they are accessed.
